EA donates Renderware for study
Electronic Arts and Criterion software are to release a version of Renderware software free to universities.
Renderware is a tools program used to produce video games and has been used in the development of 500 titles.
"This gift is a shot in the arm for... institutions looking to accelerate their graphic and game design programs," said EA's Steve Seabolt.
Institutions interested in using the tools should write, describing their plans to renderwaredeployment@ea.com
